2016 Housing Summit

As commercial and residential property values continue to soar, the timing is right for 2016 Housing Summit. Hosted annually by the Master Builders Association, this year’s Housing Summit will be held on September 15 at Meydenbauer Center and will feature Governor Jay Inslee as keynote speaker and include a panel discussion of state legislators.

School Transportation Tips

Bellevue School District teachers and students have returned to class and now is the time to review transportation alternatives, to ensure all students and school personnel arrive safely and on time. In addition, Bellevue High Schools have a later start time. The Bellevue Reporter has these tips to help you adjust accordingly. If your route to school involves a carpool on I-405, you may be eligible for a free Good to Go! Pass.

Energize Eastside Update

Earlier this spring, the public was given the opportunity to comment on two new Energize Eastside project alternatives, as identified by Puget Sound Energy. The public comment period has now closed and the Phase 2 Draft EIS is expected in January. The Scoping Comment Summary Report, Part 2 (Reopened) and other relevant documents are available here.
