The purpose of the Eastside Business Alliance is to foster in East King County a political climate in which elected officials know and understand the challenges faced by today's business community. We strive to increase our job base, enhance our quality of life, and provide quality leadership for our schools. This will occur through the involvement of local businesspeople in the political process.
The Eastside Business Alliance will encourage qualified candidates to run for office, endorse candidates supportive of business goals, and help coordinate the involvement of the broad business community in the political process.
This involvement may take the form of in-kind and/or financial contributions, candidate interviews, personal participation in a candidate's campaign, and statements of position to the appropriate elected or appointed body.
