Each January, the Coalition kicks off the New Year with a breakfast just days before the Legislature convenes. Representatives of the East King County business community gather to hear what Eastside legislators will prioritize in the coming 60 day Regular Session – and to share a few ideas of their own.

From boosting career and technical education at all levels, to addressing the housing affordability crisis and increasing mobility with disruptive transportation technologies, this year’s breakfast promises no shortage of hot topics. The Coalition is pleased to open this event to all who are interested in the legislative process, including business owners and operators, non-profit leaders and educators, local elected officials and members of the general public. About Us Coalition Sponsors
More than twenty years ago, Eastside business leaders came together and formed the East King County Chambers of Commerce Legislative Coalition to advocate for critical business legislation for the Eastside. The Coalition brings together ten chambers of commerce representing the Eastside business community and enables these chambers to speak with a unified voice on legislative issues. The Coalition develops a variety of annual publications and brings lawmakers and business leaders together through events and activities.

The Coalition represents over 23,000 businesses employing over 340,000 people and continues to make a positive impact on business issues in Olympia.
