Bellevue Chamber Foundation Awards Five Scholarships to Deserving Students
The Bellevue business community understands that an excellent education supports our future workforce. To support the other outstanding students worthy of scholarship, the Bellevue Chamber Foundation, with support from member businesses has awarded five $1,500 scholarships to Bellevue High School District graduating seniors:
Funding for 2014 scholarships is made possible through the generous support of Washington Federal, Legacy Sponsor of the Bellevue Chamber’s Spirit of Bellevue Run/Walk and other community partners who support education. This year’s Run/Walk & Kid’s Fun Run is set for Sunday, August 10. Register now at www.SpiritofBellevueRun.com to receive the early bird discount. The event offers a scenic 12K (7.46 miles) route for runners as well as a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk route for the whole family. Both courses start and end in Bellevue Downtown Park. Visit the Health & Wellness Fair at the park to see what local companies have to offer for a healthy lifestyle!
The Bellevue Chamber serves as the voice of business on the Eastside, representing thousands of jobs in our community. Businesses range in size from sole proprietors to large corporations. The Chamber's mission is to foster a healthy business environment by providing strategic leadership, advocacy, tools, and resources for business success.
The next application process will begin in the Spring of 2015 and scholarships are awarded in June. If you would like more information, please contact Sara Garner or call 425.454.2464.
