We are excited to invite you to tour and speak with the clinicians and leaders who will operate Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation’s new outpatient center in Bellevue. It would be an honor to have you at our ribbon-cutting reception on Thursday, May 2.

We will have speakers and recognitions during the 3-4 p.m. hour, followed by the ribbon-cutting at 4 p.m. and then informal networking, tours and hors d’oeuvres/refreshments until 6 p.m. Please feel free to join us at any time you are available.

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is the nation’s leading nonprofit provider of addiction prevention, education, treatment and recovery support. We are excited to be opening our 17th site in Bellevue, where we will provide:

  • Evidence-based outpatient services for adults who have a substance use disorder;
  • Integrated mental health services for co-occurring conditions;
  • Planning and support for ongoing care;
  • Education and support opportunities for families; and
  • “Screening, brief intervention and referral-to-treatment” (SBIRT) services for teens.

The new outpatient center will be located at the Overlake Medical Pavilion (1231 116th Ave NE) and will employ eight people initially. Once fully operational, we will be serving over 50 patients daily. The opioid epidemic is front of center for us, and treatment at the site will include our innovative Comprehensive Opioid Response with the Twelve Steps, or COR-12™, clinical framework. COR-12 combines the use of medications, evidence-based therapies and peer support to help people suffering from opioid use disorder not only stabilize, but also begin to transform their lives and get established in long-term recovery.

Hazelden Betty Ford celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, and we are happy to mark the milestone by opening our new outpatient center in Bellevue.

Thank you for your interest. We are excited to join the community, and look forward to working with you and your fellow leaders in the area to address our nation’s opioid overdose epidemic and broader addiction crisis.
