He worked briefly for Microsoft before becoming a dentist. He speaks English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese, and enjoys traveling with his wife and exploring outdoor parks with his two daughters and their French bulldog, Bella. His favorite sports teams are the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Seahawks, and he is still waiting for the day when the Seattle Supersonics return. His Professional Associations include: American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, Chicago Dental Society.
