Dietra Clayton

Dietra Clayton, a dedicated professional with a distinguished 20-year career, currently serves as the Managing Executive Director of The Sophia Way. Her expertise spans the entire continuum of care, with a focus on in-home caregiving, support for individuals with disabilities, those affected by HIV, and compassionate care for individuals facing psychiatric challenges. Embarking on her journey with The Sophia Way in 2017 as a part-time, on-call shelter worker, Dietra quickly developed a deep connection with the organization and its impactful work. Recognizing her commitment and leadership qualities, she was appointed Director of Client Services and Shelter Programs in 2019. In this role, she successfully led a dynamic team of 20, overseeing all facets of programming, services, provider support, and advocacy for individuals experiencing homelessness.In 2021, Dietra Clayton assumed the position of Managing Executive Director.
