David Frappier

As the King County Library System's Regional Manager responsible for the four public libraries in the City of Bellevue, I'm committed to bringing our incredibly diverse community together and building connections through the exchange of knowledge, information, and stories. I believe in empowering the voices of those marginalized in our communities, providing services to the public that center equity, and expanding the limits of what a library can be through the implementation of new technologies.

Prior to working for KCLS, served in a variety of roles in the course of my fifteen year career in libraries, including with the University of Washington Libraries and the Seattle Public Library System. My professional experience stretches from public to private institutions, through academic and public entities, and from public services to archival work.
