John Boesche

John is Vice President and Director of Seattle Operations for Lockton, the world’s largest privately held, independent insurance broker and consultant. In his role, John leads initiatives
that support organizational culture, growth, business and civic partnerships in the
community, attracting top industry talent and helping to maintain Lockton’s position as
the best place to work and do business in insurance.

Prior to joining Lockton, John spent 10 years at Visit Seattle, the private, non-profit
destination marketing organization for the region. Most recently, John served as Senior
Vice President of Tourism, leading the organization’s international tourism strategy,
public affairs and public policy efforts, partnership and sponsorship program, data
and research portfolio, and often serving as an organizational spokesperson to media. Prior to his time at Visit Seattle, John was an Operations Manager at the Seattle Sports
Commission, leading regional efforts to attract major sporting events to Seattle.
