Professional Bio
Leslie K. Cherry-Knight serves as Community Relations Manager for Bank of America’s Seattle Local Market, where she oversees community partnerships and philanthropic investments aimed at addressing pressing social and economic concerns. In this role, she works to deploy the bank’s resources to strengthen communities and foster opportunity across the region.
With 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Leslie has built a career at the intersection of business and community impact. Born Native Hawaiian and Chinese, she has dedicated her professional journey to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion—using her platform to inspire colleagues, clients, and the communities she serves.
Her commitment to representation and advocacy extends beyond her role at Bank of America. Leslie is a Regional Segment Leader for the Native American Professional Network at the enterprise level, where she supports the recruitment, retention, and career development of Native Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Alaskan Natives. Through this network, she champions cultural awareness while addressing both business and community concerns.
Deeply connected to her heritage, Leslie serves as a Director on the Boards of the Washington State Hawaiian Civic Club, Moku’aina A Wakinekona. In these roles, she promotes cultural representation, advocates for legislative guidance, and works to perpetuate Native Hawaiian culture through education and community engagement.
Leslie also brings her leadership to organizations that serve families and individuals in need. As a Board Director for Housing Hope, she helps guide programs that support vulnerable families in Snohomish County, while her work with Financial Beginnings empowers communities through financial literacy education.
