Professional Bio

As JPMorgan Chase (JPMC)’s Vice President of Community and Business Development - Community Manager for the Seattle market, Rocky is responsible for implementing a national playbook to engage the public in a meaningful way and lead a wide range of financial health initiatives. Rocky develops strategies that strengthen the understanding and partnership between the local branch network and the communities it serves. As an active member of the JPMC Seattle Market Leadership Team, Rocky works with the Corporate Responsibility representatives, leaders of Business Banking, Home Lending, and Wealth Management to ensure the local communities benefit from the resources JPMC has to offer.

Rocky began his career in the banking and financial services industry in 2004. Before joining JPMC, he worked at U.S. Bank for over 13 years with various roles, including Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility, Wholesale Banking Credit Team Lead, Washington Metro Region SBS Leader, and Branch Manager at the Flagship Branch for the state of Washington. Rocky’s experience and expertise include assessing risk and performance while developing strategies for CRA related focus categories; analyzing potential equity investment opportunities for community development initiatives; leading and developing strategies for business resource group (BRG), diversity, equity, and inclusion related initiatives and projects; managing and coordinating portfolio analysts, projections, covenant testing, and other credit administration related tasks for large corporations; providing leadership in retail branches and business banking division; managing significant banking relationships with clients in both consumer and business segments; and offering mentorship to peers across business lines for their professional career development.

Rocky was born and raised in Hong Kong, and has resided in Seattle with his family since 1997.
