Professional Bio
Pearl Leung leads local public policy from East King County to Eastern Washington at Amazon. Leung has dedicated her work to building bridges at the intersections of urban growth, equitable economic empowerment, and community building. Over the course of her career, she built deep partnerships with over 200+ non-profit and community organizations across the Puget Sound region impacting areas of affordable housing, human services, arts and culture, and transportation.
In 2020, Leung was named by the Puget Sound Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 awardee for her leadership in the region. Prior to her current role at Amazon, Leung spent over 14 years at Vulcan Inc. as their Director of External Affairs. Leung holds a Masters in Urban Planning and a B.A. in American Ethnic Studies from the University of Washington. She currently serves on the boards of Hopelink, Housing Connector, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, and Bellevue Downtown Association.
