Todd Buchanan

Todd is a seasoned architecture and design professional with 28 years of experience leading teams, delivering complex projects, and cultivating strong client relationships. He manages HOK’s Seattle office, where he oversees daily operations, drives business development, and serves as Principal in Charge on major initiatives. As a member of HOK’s firmwide Management Board, Todd plays a key role in guiding strategic decisions related to practice management and continuous improvement across the company.

Since opening HOK’s Seattle studio in 2008, Todd has grown it into a dynamic team of over 50 professionals. Under his leadership, the studio has fostered a culture of excellence and collaboration, delivering projects that make a meaningful impact throughout the Puget Sound region.
