Breakfast with the Chief

The changes occurring in Bellevue are wide and deep – growth and development, an influx of tech jobs, and increased transit and mobility challenges are among a few. The Bellevue Fire Department will encounter homelessness, substance abuse, and mental crises with increased frequency ranging from routine to complex. Bellevue is vibrant and looks to be thriving, so why should we be concerned?

At the November 3^rd breakfast, Chief Hagen will share his knowledge on some of the issues he’s anticipating and how the department is preparing to respond to the myriad emergencies they are tasked. He will also make the case that support from the community is necessary for the high-priority life-saving tools and equipment and other crucial programs that would otherwise go unfunded. This is going to be a great morning, and we’ll be joined by some of the wonderful people who are on the front lines keeping us safe – our firefighters and paramedics.
