Who We Are

Friends of Youth delivers a comprehensive range of services to youth and young adults facing challenging circumstances.

We partner with youth and families to provide the relationships, resources, and skills they need to attain personal growth and success. Friends of Youth envisions all youth having every opportunity to succeed.

For over 70 years, Friends of Youth has been serving youth and families in the Puget Sound region. Throughout our history, we have developed, provided and advocated for services to help youth redefine their futures. Friends of Youth was created in response to the urgent and unmet needs of youth in our community: a philosophy of service that continues today. Since our beginning in 1951, our services have grown and evolved to respond to identified community needs.

With over 70 years of experience, 24 program sites in 18 cities, and national accreditation, we provide welcoming, safe places and emotional support for youth in challenging circumstances and collectively strive to ensure youth face zero days of vulnerability.
