Professional Bio
Social change practitioner and thought leader with over 20 years of experience working within and alongside grassroots community organizations, local initiatives, national coalitions, foundations, and academic institutions. Subject matter expert in leadership development and multiplication, racial narratives and systemic racism, community empowerment and partnerships, grant writing and funding strategies, public speaking, and social justice philanthropy.
I was the founder of three different non-profit organizations, have been featured in the New York Times, Huffinton Post, Bay Citizen, and featured as an important voice in the Power Issue of San Francisco Magazine. I have been sought after voice by the Seattle Times, AP News, Sojourners, Politico, and other outlets to offer views and analysis on topics of justice, race, and religion.
