Amy Welch is a graduate of the University of Washington Tacoma with a degree in Law & Policy. After several sessions working as a session aid with the Washington State Senate she left to join her husband at their business, Auburn Volkswagen, as the legal compliance officer. Her and her husband Matthew have 3 children and live in Tacoma.
