Oversee the divisions that report out of the office the mayor (communications/multimedia; emergency management; human services; economic development and facilities). Provide support to mayor for government relations, regional committees, public affairs, intergovernmental activities and needs of the city council. Supervision of day-to-day operations of department and staff.
