Principal
Lavina is a licensed architect in Washington with more than 20 years of architecture experience in multi-family and mixed use building projects. Lavina has been a member of AIA since 2005 and is LEED AP Certified with an interest in sustainable design practices. Lavina’s work on 123-4th Apartments, Olympia, WA was recognized with an invitation to speak at the AIA Symposium organized by the Committee of the Environment (COTE) and the building received LEED Silver certification. Prior to becoming Principal at Veer, she was a Project Manager at Veer, HDL+T, and Baylis Architects. Lavina is a member of the Diversity in Design Group, Seattle AIA and is passionate about encouraging women architects and supporting minority owned businesses.
She is responsible for overseeing Revit standards and keeping the office updated with Building and Accessibility Code standards. Lavina is well versed with the IBC code for Type V over Type 1 A sprinklered construction, Fair Housing and Accessibility codes.
