Professional Bio
With over 25 years of expertise in Business Strategy, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Operations, Nicolette Sharp’s portfolio of work has led her to serve companies across the globe, from Coty Inc., Compaq Computers, Hewlett Packard to Microsoft Corporation.
In 2006, Nicolette and her husband, Drew, co-founded Prime 8 Consulting a management consulting business in the PNW that provides consulting services in the areas of business planning & operations, workforce innovation, learning & development, and business intelligence solutions with a goal to ensure their clients always succeed. Prime 8 is a diverse (WBENC) company, known for its strong culture, top class resources, and received the award for ‘Best Companies to Work For’ from Seattle Business Magazine for the 6th year.
In April 2019, Nicolette co-founded a startup called Blueocean, co-located in Seattle & San Francisco. Blueocean uses AI to gather freely available data, beyond just social listening, about a company’s brand and provides valuable, timely insights into a brand’s health vs its competitors.
Nicolette is passionate about equality and education, and as a member of the Seattle Chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO), serves on their board as the Diversity Officer. She is the Treasurer on the Executive Board for St. Thomas School, Medina, and serves on the Board of Trustees for Rainier Scholars. Nicolette has her B.A. in Business, and has her ASCPA (Australian Society of CPAs) professional qualification.
