Professional Bio
Troy Christensen is the Executive Director of PorchLight, a nonprofit that provides shelter and permanent supportive housing to single men on the Eastside of King County. Troy’s career includes being Executive Director of Korean Women’s Association, and Chief of Operations and Strategy at the Metropolitan Development Council- both large non-profits providing services across Washington state in the areas of housing, healthcare, education, and employment. Highlights of his career include roles at Rainbow Center (also Executive Director), Greater Lakes Mental Healthcare as Clinical Director; Executive Director of the Geneva Foundation; Mental Health Manager for Pierce County and as Pierce County’s Homeless Programs Administrator.
Troy has a bachelor’s degree in music performance from Willamette University, and graduate degrees in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, and Health Administration.
