Chamber Board of Directors gains eight new members

The Bellevue Chamber has eight new Board members! Get to know them below:


Dr. David May
Bellevue College

Dr. David May began his tenure as President at Bellevue College on July 1, 2023. A Pacific Northwest native, Dr. May is in his third decade as an educator and leader in higher education in the state of Washington. 


Holding a doctorate in political science from Washington State University, he is also an expert in the area of Supreme Court politics. 


Monty Robinson
Delta Dental of Washington

Monty Robinson, Chief Revenue Officer for Delta Dental, has more than twenty years of healthcare and financial services leadership experience, a strong track record of new business development, revenue growth, and innovation.

In his most recent position, Monty served as the Mid-Atlantic Region, Public & Labor Segment President – Head of Sales and Service at Aetna, a CVS healthcare company. In this role, he was responsible for leading a sales and account management team covering a 5-state region representing over 1 million commercial medical members and delivering $1.6B in revenue. 

Monty holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management & Finance from the University of South Carolina, and an MBA in Marketing from Troy University in Alabama.



Donald Lam
Peterson Russell Kelly Livengood PLLC

Donald Lam’s legal practice focuses on advising small privately held businesses and individuals in business formation, commercial transactions, merger and acquisitions, and technology licensing matters.
He speaks fluent Chinese (Cantonese), and represents clients in technology and intellectual property licensing, including matters involving software, patents, trademarks, and technology concerning business models. 
Much of Donald’s practice is devoted to mergers and acquisitions representation; typically in transactions ranging from several hundred thousand dollars to $10 million or more. He additionally assists clients through the preparation of shareholder and “buy-sell” agreements, LLC agreements, and shareholder/owner buy-outs.

Francesca Vega
Seattle Children’s

Francesca Vega joined Seattle Children’s as its new vice president of External Affairs in February of 2023, since then leading the organization’s community and government relations work. 
She brings extensive expertise in advocacy, building coalitions, and strengthening relationships with governments and community groups.
She started her career working in public policy in the California state legislature, and most recently led the University of California San Francisco’s (UCSF) community and government relations and advocacy strategies. 


Joseph Brazen
Windermere Real Estate

A lifelong broker of 40+ years, Joseph is still passionate about Real Estate and loves uniting people with great properties.

Having the vision that the Pacific Northwest was the ideal place to grow a luxury real estate team, Joseph, his wife (Randi) of 34 years, and his three daughters (Cody, Joey and Taylor) made the move to Bellevue, Washington in 1992 and have called Bellevue home for the past 26 years. 


Specializing in the million dollar plus market, Joseph has represented some of the most amazing high-end buyers, sellers, and properties in the Pacific Northwest.


Hannah Grossblatt
UBS

Hannah Grossblatt is an Associate Market Executive and Financial Advisor at UBS, coming to the company with a unique background that offers a fresh and diverse perspective on wealth management. She is a certified financial planner focusing on generational financial planning, with an emphasis on creating holistic and comprehensive financial plans to address important priorities.

Additionally, as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), she works with business owners to help prepare for retirement and tap into business equity as they plan for next steps in life. 

Prior to working at UBS, Hannah completed her Master's degree from the University of Washington in the field of international studies. During this program, she taught political science courses and spent her summers overseas in Turkey (at Bogazici University) and Azerbaijan (at the Azerbaijan University of Languages) on Department of State and Department of Education grants. 



Wade Smith
Puget Sound Energy

Wade Smith is executive vice president and chief operating officer for Puget Sound Energy, where he is responsible for all of PSE’s operational areas, including natural gas and electric operations and energy supply, serving approximately 1.2 million electric customers and 900,000 natural gas customers.


Wade has more than 30 years of operational experience, having joined PSE in July 2022 from Pacific Gas & Electric, where he served as senior vice president of Electric Operations. Prior to that, he held a number of leadership roles over the course of three decades at American Electric Power (AEP). 


Marta LaCroix
Verizon

Back in the PNW after spending the last three years in Southern California, Marta LaCroix has taken on various roles at Verizon during her tenure.

Currently, she serves as Executive Director of the Network Field Engineering team, and has a background in different engineering, design, and system performance positions. 

Marta has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, as well as an MBA from the Foster School of Business.
