Final Filing: A rundown of the Eastside’s contested races
As of last week, filing has been completed for those running in a King County election this fall, including state, county, city, and school board races across the region, of which we will specifically be focusing on the Eastside.
Beforehand, though, let’s get something clear: This is not an endorsement of any candidates in any way — that’s what the Eastside Business Alliance is for, but more on that below — and is simply a tracker of which races are expected to be contested based on the King County Elections documentation.
Candidate statements for these folks are due on May 20, but if they have already submitted a campaign website or email, it is linked below. As a reminder, November 4 is Election Day, so make sure your registration is up-to-date so you receive your ballot!
As mentioned, the Chamber also helps with endorsements of these candidates through the Eastside Business Alliance, which has already begun conducting interviews with candidates seeking the EBA’s stamp of approval.
