Bellden Cafe reopens doors, launches Kickstarter campaign

Community, In the News,

Only someone like Bellden Cafe’s Claire Sumadiwirya can turn equipment failures and flooding into an opportunity for growth and community-building.

After Bellden Cafe had to close its doors for weeks to revamp and rebuild their space, Sumadiwirya gathered the gang and her City Council counterparts for a Grand Re-Opening Celebration on February 20 … and with a new purpose.

In launching a Kickstarter campaign for their new Tea & Dinner Workforce Program, Bellden hopes to continue its mission of training, employing, and forging career pathways for people with disabilities, refugees, single mothers, and survivors of human trafficking.
