Celebrate International Self Care Day in Bellevue

5 Things,

While next Monday — July 24 — is International Self Care Day, we don’t think you need a predetermined “holiday” to justify treating yourself every once in a while. Whether you want to go big (think home gym makeover or finally getting LASIK eye surgery) or stay small (an ube latte and a stroll around Downtown Park sounds nice, too), we encourage you to keep it local the next time you practice a little self care.

Detox & Hit ‘Reset’:

The body likes to keep score, so every once in a while some TLC is in order. Chamber members Ma's Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine and City Sweats can get you feeling spry in no time, and there are countless other spas in Bellevue and beyond for your other wellness needs.

No-Fuss Night Out:

We love a Happy Hour at Ascend or drinks at Central Bar & Restaurant as much as the next person — err, perhaps a bit more — but sometimes, you just need a low-key date night out on the town to liven your spirits. The Cinemark Reserve in Lincoln Square South has its 21+ dine-in perks and those nice reclining leather chairs, and Dick's Drive-In is open until 2 a.m. for a perfect post-flick bite on your way home.

For the Home:

Having a space that you actually want to live in is important, and adding a plant here and there or upgrading your kitchen with the help of Williams Sonoma can be an easy pick-me-up. If you want a little help making your house homier, you can bring on an interior designer for inspo, or take a cooking class at Whisk to fill those new dishes.

You Fancy, Huh?:

If feeling stylish (and splurge-worthy) you can fulfill your shopaholic fantasy by booking an appointment and consultation for one of the luxury stores housed in The Bravern, or head over to longtime Chamber member and community staple, J.Lewis Jewelry, for some added glitz and glam.
