There are A LOT of nonprofits digging their heels into Eastside communities to help target systemic injustices, so this National Nonprofit Day — August 17 — we wanted to highlight a few. Get the gist of each organization's mission below, and click the logo to be taken to each respective nonprofit's website. 


The Bellevue College Foundation invests in BC students, faculty, and staff to realize their goals and dreams.

Assistance League of the Eastside helps children and adults affected by financial hardship or violence. 

Based in Issaquah, Village Theatre is a leading producer of musical theatre in the Pacific Northwest.

By addressing children's basic needs, LifeSpring helps students focus on their education & break the cycle of poverty. 

Essentials First provides equitable access to personal and household hygiene products, as well as food assistance.

The CCCWA aims to promote &  facilitate trade cooperation between the state of Washington and China.

The Symphony is a professional orchestra comprised of 50+ musicians, led by Maestro Brian Davenport.

Opening the doors to the first House of Hope in 1994, Mamma’s Hands  helps families that are facing homelessness.

Attain Housing brings the Kirkland community together by partnering with homeless families and providing housing.

The mission of the BYTF is to foster the Youth Theatre program by increasing awareness, raising funds, and more.

Northwest Kidney Centers serves nearly 2,000 patients and their families living in the Pacific Northwest region.

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is the world's largest anti-fraud organization.

The Building Owners and Managers Association Seattle King County is a professional trade association.

Imagine Housing is the largest non-profit provider of affordable housing based here on the Eastside.

DECA prepares emerging leaders in marketing, finance, and hospitality in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Theatre33 is a bilingual non profit community teaching theatre located in the heart of the BelRed Arts District.  

The mission of Jubilee REACH is to heal, build community, & transform the lives of students and their families.

EA is an alternative Christian high school that offers a holistic support system for students in need of more support. 

Supporting the efforts of BPD by providing grants for department training and the purchase of specialized equipment.

For more than 70 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue have been providing a safe place for our local youth.
