EBRT Kickoff: World Cup 2026 plans, opportunities, & what’s next for Bellevue

On October 9, the Chamber’s Executive Business Roundtable program opened the season with a full house, fresh coffee, and a countdown clock for World Cup. Seattle’s FIFA World Cup CEO, Peter Tomozawa, took the mic alongside Seattle Sounders alum Brad Evans, and the room got a first-hand look at what the world’s biggest sporting event means for our region. Tomozawa set the tone early with a grin and a reminder that the calendar is moving fast:

“244 days, 14 hours, 35 minutes and 27 seconds ... But who’s counting? ... I am."
