PLUSH Committee Calls for a Flexible Path to Housing Affordability in Bellevue
In a March 16 letter to the Bellevue City Council, the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce’s PLUSH Committee urges leaders to pair housing affordability goals with policies that keep new multifamily development feasible. The committee argues that if Mandatory Housing Affordability is applied in mixed-use areas, it should be matched with flexible tools such as an MFTE supercharger and fee-in-lieu options to help Bellevue expand housing supply while advancing affordability.
